Effective August 14, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Vehicle Ally, operated by The R.E.I. Group LLC DBA Vehicle Ally (“Vehicle Ally,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding your login, and activity under your account. Family plans provide one account—not separately shared accounts—and support up to five saved vehicles.
Plans, billing, and cancellation
Prices and billing periods are shown before checkout. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew until canceled. You may cancel anytime; cancellation stops future renewal and access continues through the already-paid period. Except where law requires otherwise, payments are nonrefundable and we do not provide prorated credits.
VIN limits and replacements
Monthly, annual, and code-reader plans permit one active VIN. A standard-plan member may request one VIN replacement during any rolling 12-month period when the registered vehicle has been sold, traded, totaled, or otherwise permanently replaced. VIN replacement is not intended to rotate access among multiple vehicles and must be processed or approved by Vehicle Ally. The family plan permits up to five active VINs under one account; replacement requests remain subject to Vehicle Ally approval. Additional changes may require a new or upgraded membership. Attempting to evade VIN limits may result in suspension or termination.
Code-reader plan
The $149 code-reader option covers the first year of service and one reader. It may be purchased once per member. After the first year, continued service is offered through the standard $100 annual plan. Shipping timing, model, compatibility, and availability may vary. The reader is an information tool and does not replace professional diagnosis.
Acceptable use
You may use Vehicle Ally only for lawful, personal vehicle-support purposes. You may not reverse engineer, scrape, overload, resell, share access outside your household, submit unlawful or harmful material, or use the service to make decisions that require a licensed professional.
Automotive and AI limitations
Vehicle Ally provides educational information, not mechanical, engineering, safety, legal, insurance, or other professional advice. AI can misunderstand information or produce inaccurate output. VIN decoding can be incomplete. Never ignore warning lights, recalls, manufacturer instructions, or the judgment of a qualified technician. For an urgent safety concern, stop driving when safe and seek appropriate help.
Pro escalation
Eligible subscribers may request review by the Pro. Escalation is not emergency assistance, does not guarantee a response time or outcome, and does not create a technician-client, fiduciary, or professional relationship.
Intellectual property
Vehicle Ally and its software, branding, text, and presentation are owned by or licensed to us. You retain rights in information you submit and grant us permission to process it as necessary to operate, secure, and improve the service.
Service changes and termination
We may update, suspend, or discontinue features and may suspend accounts that violate these Terms, threaten security, or create legal risk. Material changes will be communicated as required by law.
Disclaimers and liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES. VEHICLE ALLY IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, VEHICLE DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, LOSS OF USE, OR RELIANCE ON INFORMATION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so they may not apply to you.
